15604. CULTURAL RELATIVISM. The anthropological view of cultural relativism has been interpreted as meaning that the moral decision of people of different cultures or viewpoints should not be judged. This paper argues that there are problems with this claim, and that ambiguity in moral issues has a negative impact on society as a whole.
