17022. BUDDHISM AND JUDAISM. This paper addresses the reasons why many Jews are turning to the use of Buddhist meditation techniques. Although Judaism is sufficient in itself as a spiritual practice, Buddhism has played a role in the rediscovery of traditional Jewish meditation practices and in strengthening appreciation for traditional Jewish beliefs.
